Thanks Mike. This post was written when Your Friends @ Medium first launched the Partner Program, which has since been expanded to include mainstream media publications like The New York Times and CNN, and which has also since seen a huge declined in readership of Member only stories from creative/independent writers like me. Unfortunately, I’ve since stopped locking my posts due to their nonexistent visibility. Locking posts is no longer financially viable for creative and offbeat writers like me.
